Destiny Robinson
Destiny Robinson, the reigning 2025 Miss Black Minnesota USA, is a dynamic leader, mental health advocate, and trailblazer in the arts and community service. With a deep passion for addressing the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly in the Black community, Destiny partners with Mending Hearts Life Coaching to ensure individuals receive the care and resources they need. Her mission is to make mental health conversations a norm, empowering individuals to seek help without fear or judgment.
A Burnsville High School alumna, Destiny graduated in 2023 with honors and a 3.6 GPA. Post-graduation, she earned a certificate in modeling and acting, culminating in her signing with three prestigious agencies: MTM Management, Model and Boutique Co., and Manikin. She views fashion as a storytelling medium and strives to inspire young girls of color to pursue modeling and acting, proving that barriers can be broken, and dreams can be realized.
Destiny’s impact extends well beyond the runway and screen. She is actively involved with Loaves and Fishes, a nonprofit organization that combats food insecurity by providing meals to those in need. Her leadership and voice shine through her public speaking engagements with The Voice of the Next, where she advocates for unity, resilience, and faith. Having spoken on this platform multiple times, Destiny is committed to amplifying the voices of young people and addressing issues close to her heart.
Anaiya Wilson
Anaiya Gabrielle Wilson is an extraordinary 14-year-old young lady, celebrated for her eloquence, determination, and multifaceted talents. A gifted orator since birth, Anaiya’s passion for speech and expression has been a defining aspect of her character, making her a natural leader and an inspiration to those around her.
Anaiya recently completed 8th grade at Breck School and is eagerly preparing for the challenges and opportunities of high school. Her academic journey began in the Eden Prairie School District, where she excelled and was honored as Student of the Quarter, placing her among the top 10% of over 2,100 students in grades 6-8. Anaiya dreams of attending medical school to become either a cardiovascular or neurosurgeon, driven by a desire to make a profound impact in the medical field.
Outside the classroom, Anaiya’s talents and interests extend far and wide. She has studied violin at the esteemed Walker West Music Academy in St. Paul, showcasing her dedication to the arts. She is also an avid swimmer, actively participating with the Fox Jets Swim Team in Eden Prairie, where she hones her discipline and teamwork skills. Anaiya’s love for dance is reflected in her involvement with Dance City, where she is training to join the competitive dance team, pushing her creativity and performance abilities to new heights.
Anaiya is also committed to community engagement and leadership development. She participates in Project Diva, a mentorship program that empowers young women, and Girls Taking Action, an initiative that nurtures leadership and personal growth. Additionally, as a member of NSBE Jr. (National Society of Black Engineers Junior Chapter), she is building a strong foundation in STEM, aligning with her aspirations for a future in medicine.
Traisia Yun-Robinson
Triasia Yun-Robinson is a passionate mental health advocate, dedicated leader, and the current reigning Ms. Black Minnesota USA 2025. She is the Director and Co-Owner of Healing & Restoration Consulting LLC. Because of her dedicated work to raise awareness for black youth suicide, she was appointed by Gov. Walz in 2023 to hold the position of parent advocate on the Minnesota Mental Health State Advisory Board . In addition to contributing to state advisory board , she focuses on providing essential support and resources to families, particularly those impacted by mental health challenges. With a deep commitment to her mission of eliminating Black youth suicide, she works tirelessly to uplift and empower Black children and families in her community.
Triasia's educational journey reflects her dedication to advocacy and service. She holds a master’s degree in Co-Occurring Recovery Psychology Disorders, and a master’s in advocacy and political leadership (MAPL), earned in December 2021, both from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul, MN. She also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, with a minor in Violence Intervention and Prevention, and an Associate of Science in Human Services.
An accomplished author, Triasia has contributed to discussions on equity for Black children through her publications, including a notable article in MinnPost. She is also a sought-after speaker and is engaged with various organizations and training programs to promote diversity and equity in education. Triasia's affiliations include membership in the Minnesota Association of Black Social Workers, the Advancing Equity Coalition, and the NAACP Minneapolis Branch. She has served as Co-Chair of the Black Parents Advisory Council and has played an active role on the Special Education Advisory Council for the Minneapolis Public School District.
