Rai' Janee Meadows
One of the driving forces behind Rai'Jenee's desire to be Miss Black Minnesota is a painful chapter in her life—a chapter that unfolded in 2022 when she lost her little brother to fentanyl poisoning. His innocence, mistaking the deadly substance for candy, became a tragic consequence of an adult's carelessness.
In the face of this heart-wrenching loss, Rai'Janee is determined to channel her grief into action. She wants to use the platform of Miss Black Minnesota to raise awareness about drug abuse, with a particular focus on eradicating fentanyl from our communities.
